Vanessa Chaput was jogging along a beautiful mountainside trail in Canada when she was suddenly attacked by a bear. It bit onto her plastic hair clip and backed off. She also credits her dog, Luna’s barking for spooking the bear away.
She was rushed to the hospital with a broken arm and deep gashes from claws, but feels lucky to be alive.
