The CDC Advises Us To Wear A Mask When Going Out In Public
On Friday, President Donald Trump announced that the “CDC is advising the use of non-medical cloth faced covering as an additional voluntary public health measure.”
U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams added on Friday. “The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N95 respirators, those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders.”
These masks aren’t going to fully protect you from coronavirus. You should still be practicing social distancing by staying at least 6 feet away from others in public and frequently washing your hands for 20 seconds each time.
But even flimsier disposable masks can be hard to find. Luckily, there are quick and easy ways craft your own.
