October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to help to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection, treatment and care of this disease. According to the World Health Organization, there are about 1.38 million new cases and 458 000 deaths from breast cancer each year.
