Fresh snow this week continues to improve trail conditions throughout the region. Expect warmer weather and sunshine followed by another shot of snow Saturday.
Powder hounds are reporting good to variable conditions in Hatcher Pass and the Turnagain area. Be alert for thin, wind affected snowpack above 1,000 feet.
Petersville has great snow and trail conditions, just be aware of parking challenges. North on the Glenn, trails are also groomed and conditions good.
You’ll find lots of snow and great riding around Thompson Pass and Valdez.
This weekend is the start of the Fur Rendezvous and wrap up of Iron Dog so get outdoors and cheer on your favorite teams.
